2020 Avon Business Updates

Shipping Costs For You & Your Customers

To give your customers the VIP treatment they deserve, Avon is introducing new perks and special offers only for customers who shop with a Representative, including exclusive pricing and free shipping.

Customers expect free shipping! To help increase your online customers’ order size and boost your sales, we’re moving our free shipping minimum from $40 to $60.

Your customers shopping with you on your store will pay $8 shipping on Direct Delivery orders below $60 and receive free shipping for orders of $60 or more. The shipping fee for those $60+ orders will be shared by you and Avon, with Avon continuing to pick up most of the actual shipping cost. For example, your portion is just $8 on a $60 online customer order.

Online customers not shopping with a Representative will pay full price for their products and pay shipping fees that will range from $8 to $17. For AvonNow.com orders, shipping fees will range from $8 to $17 for all

New Online Store Promo Options

In 2020, you’ll be able to customize your online store with the promotions your customers will like best. A new content management tool in your online store will let you choose the offers you want to promote and invest in, like shipping, samples, percent-off discounts.

Choose when the promos run and pick from ready-to-go emails, texts and (soon!) digital ads to spread the word. You decide what offers you want to run and set your budget for each.

Avon Credit Update

Starting April 1/Campaign 9, 2020, only 2020 Premier and President’s Recognition Program Representatives who have credit today will retain Avon Credit. See all the details in your AVONnow Rep account.

Personal Opinion On Avon Business Updates

Although I’m still an Avon Rep, I stopped selling Avon locally several months ago, after we moved to another state. Personally I don’t agree with raising the shipping charges and find it very unfair for myself, my fellow Reps and my online customers.

Most of my past orders (locally & online) ranged between $20 – $35 and I’m very doubtful my customers will double their orders just to get free shipping. Plus, we now get even less commission because we have to cover part of the shipping charges? Hmmm!!! Time will tell if we and Avon as a business can continue on like this.

Avon Reps, what do you think of all the changes and updates? Leave me a comment below.

I just closed my account due to the fact they are taking the credit away, shipping prices, and I think you should be able to choose a minimum of less than 10 books.

Hi Dee, I completely understand and agree. I have just had a discussion with my husband and business partner about the increasing shipping costs for online orders and if we should continue promoting Avon. We have come to a decision, but more on that in my next article. Good luck to you and your future business endeavors.

Will you be replacing your Avon business income with another network marketing company like Herbalife or Paparazzi?
